COFFEE ICE CREAM
(WITH
CONDENSED MILK)

INGRDITENTS
1. 175 g (grams) can full-cream
condensed milk
2. 1 ½ tablespoons instant coffee
granules, dissolved in
3. 1 tablespoons boiling water
4. ½ teaspoon vanilla essence.
5. 300 g (grams) double cream.
STEP BY STEP METHOD
a.
Put the condensed milk and dissolved coffee in a bowl
over a pan of gently simmering water.
b.
Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until
slightly thickened.
c.
Remove from the heat, stir in the vanilla essence and
leave to cool in the refrigerator before chilling.
d.
Whip the cream until soft peaks are formed then fold
into coffee mixture.
e.
Pour the mixture into a container.
f.
Cover and freeze until firm, beating well after 1 ½
hours.
g.
About 15 minutes before serving, transfer the ice
cream to the refrigerator.
