Poverty: Conditions
in which people do not have basic living standards and are in short supply.
Poverty is usually considered
in two ways:
1. Absolute poverty that
people struggle to survive with death.
2. Relative poverty that a
person has towards the living standards of a poor society.
For example, a person may have the necessary need
for survival, but the level of living in the community is lower. The level of
poverty in society can be measured using household expenditure, income level,
commodity requirements, and so on.
What is Poverty?
Poverty refers to several factors, each of which
must be addressed in its own right. In fact, the question of what poverty
results from is indicative of the direction of each individual's intellectual
orientation. There are also various social, economic, and sometimes
philosophical issues to consider, each of which can have its own parts of
reality. In general, however, it can be argued that the poverty rate of each
community reflects the efficiency of the economic system and the planning
system.
In the fight against poverty, like other problems, it is
better to find and treat the roots. To find these roots, you first need to
identify and examine several subpopulations. These sub-communities can provide
anyone with relevant information, such as why households that do not own
housing are in poverty, or why the majority of households headed by women are
poor, and so the sub-community. Examine the various.
However, the surveys that have been carried out show that
none of the two factors considered are the main factor and indicator of
poverty. Because the families that are headed by women are not poor and some homeowners
are poor.
In this respect, it is alleged that a person owns two
rooms and leases one of these rooms and earns a living on the money. Or on the
other hand, some women have a good job even after separating from their spouse.
It should be noted, however, that the families headed by women are generally
poorer than other families below the poverty line. Overall, the most important
cause of poverty in the world is not earning enough, and in Iran the definition
is that bread is small and that it derives from GDP.
Alongside this is the unequal distribution of wealth in
society because some can make a fortune through rent, which makes the bread of
society smaller and smaller. We have to admit that wherever we go the wrong
way, we have to pay for it, and in the economic structure of a society, the
public has to pay.
One-third of our economy is oil-dependent, and we should
strive to reduce that dependency. Because oil is income-generating, it does not
create jobs, and a lack of jobs leads to a lack of income and poverty. In
societies that have oil and want to avoid problems like Iran, they have stopped
selling crude oil and, instead of producing other commodities, have not only
increased their value added but also helped create jobs in their community. This
is a good way for Iran to follow, and it is an important step to reduce poverty
and increase prosperity in Iranian society. The higher the production in a
society, the more naturally the job becomes.
Poverty
Line
The poverty line represents the cost of providing the
rail (at least the life of a human being), which includes the purchase of a
number and a certain amount of basic goods and services. Societies and those
who cannot afford the same level of poverty line are below the poverty line and
make up the poor and poor countries, so the poverty line is at least an income
below which a person suffers from poverty and death. To be According to a
study, there is still no single unit for the poverty line in Afghanistanفق, but the poverty line in Afghanistan, Kabul, and Jalalabad,
higher in Kabul is estimated at 10,000 Afghanis per household, each household
in Its monthly income is less than that, it is considered poor and below the
poverty line.
