Beetroot leaves are actually the vegetables that come with the beet root. Beetroot is one of the vegetable types of native Mediterranean green leaf that is confused with Swiss Chard in most sources, their edible leaves being very similar in taste and texture.
Beetroot leaves, due to their high nutrient content, are beneficial for eye health, reduce the risk of osteoporosis and help treat anemia.

Beetroot has more iron than spinach, so it helps iron deficiency anemia by increasing the production of red blood cells.
